Check your Google ranking
Put in your web address and see the searches your site already appears for, with your position on each one. No keyword to guess at, no email, nothing to install.
Most owners have never seen this about their own site
You probably know the one or two phrases you would like to rank for. What almost nobody knows is the full list of website keywords Google already shows them for, and how close some of those are to page one.
- A search you already sit at eleven for is usually a much shorter job than a search you are nowhere on.
- The phrases you rank for are rarely the ones you would have guessed, and they tell you what Google thinks your site is about.
- Anything below the first ten results is effectively invisible, however good the page behind it is.
What the numbers mean
The headline is how many searches your site appears for at all, anywhere in the results. Underneath it are the two that decide whether anybody finds you: how many of those are on page one, and how many are in the top three.
Then the searches themselves, strongest first, with the monthly volume beside each so you can tell a phrase worth having from one nobody types. Your best position is the most valuable thing you already rank well for, which is usually the most useful sentence on the page.

Before you ask
Is it really free?
Yes. You can check your Google ranking here with no email, no account and nothing to install. Put in your web address, wait a few seconds, and the searches your site already appears for come back with your position on each one.
How do I check my website keywords?
This is that tool. Put your web address in and it comes back with the keywords your website is already ranking for, each with your position and how many people search it a month. There is nothing to install and no list to upload, because it starts from the site rather than from a list you have to write first.
Do I need to know which keywords to check?
No, and that is the point. Most tools ask you to guess a phrase first. This one starts from your web address and tells you what you already show up for, including the searches you never thought to look at.
What counts as a good position?
Anything in the top three gets most of the clicks. Page one, which is the top ten, is where a business is genuinely findable. Below that, very few people ever see you, however good the page is.
It says my site is not ranking for anything. Is that bad?
It is normal for a new site, and it means nothing is being wasted. Every search your customers make is still there to be won, and the work to win them is the same work whether a site starts at nothing or at fifty.
How current are the positions?
They come from a UK index of search results that is refreshed regularly, so they are recent rather than to the second. That is the honest answer, and it is why the tool shows a date rather than implying a live check.
How is this different from the free SEO audit and the speed test?
This one answers where you appear in search today. The speed test measures how fast the site is on a phone. The SEO audit checks everything visible from outside your whole site and emails you the full report. They answer different questions and all three are free.
