Website redesign service UK
A redesign brings an existing website up to date: a modern design, a clearer route from landing on the site to getting in touch, pages for the services you have added since, and the technical work underneath. Most sites get left alone for years while the business changes around them. A redesign catches the site up with the business.
What an old website holds back
A website that was right three years ago is describing a business that no longer exists. You have added services, taken on people and improved the work, and none of it is on there. Competitors who rebuilt theirs are the ones being found and called.
It describes a smaller business
New services, new areas and better work never made it onto the site. People judge you on what is there rather than on what you do now.
There is nowhere to put anything new
The site was built for what you did then, so adding a service or a location means bolting it on somewhere it does not fit.
Competitors who rebuilt are being found
A newer site with more pages and a clearer structure ranks above yours, and it takes the enquiries that used to come to you.
What changes when the new site goes live
Somebody who has never heard of you lands on it and sees recent work, photographed properly and easy to read. The web address you have been giving out for years still works, and so does every page Google already knows about. It looks current, it loads quickly on a phone, and the way to get in touch is obvious on every screen.
- It looks like the business you run today.
- Everything you had already earned comes with you.

What a redesign is made of
A redesign covers more than the look. It takes in the design and the photography, the structure and the pages, the route from landing to enquiry, new features and automations that were not there before, and room to expand as you add services. The web address of every existing page is handled carefully, so the rankings you already have survive the move.
Design and photography
New photographs of recent work, colours and type that suit the business you are now, and enough space around everything to make it easy to read. This is the part people notice first and usually the part the old site had fallen behind on.
A first screen that says what you do now
Businesses move on and their websites stay put. The new first screen names what you actually sell today, to the people you actually want, in their words.
Speed on a phone
Most people arrive on a phone on mobile data. The rebuild is made to load fast there from the start, which is also most of what Google measures for page experience.
Your search history carried across
Every page on the old site is matched to its replacement before anything moves. Google has spent years learning to trust those web addresses, and that trust comes across to the new site rather than being lost.
Trust signals where people look
Reviews where they will be seen, a named person with a face, a proper phone number and address. These are what make a site read as a business that is trading today.
The keys in your name
Domain, hosting and logins recovered into your name whatever state we find them in, so from launch day everything is yours to keep.

One we built
The Bee Hive Cafe
Cafe, CardiffA cafe whose site went down completely. Not slow, not dated, gone. Rebuilt from nothing with online ordering and a menu they can change themselves.

What we did
- Rebuilt and back online, with ordering and payments working
- A menu the owner edits herself, without ringing anybody
- Every old address mapped to its new home, so nothing that had been found was lost
- Built on something they own rather than rented from a platform
The site is theirs now, on their own hosting, and the menu changes without a phone call.

A rebrand starts with the first screen, so it says what you do and who for in one line, then the speed, because a slow site loses people before they read a word. How it behaves on a phone gets rebuilt, since that is where most of your visitors are, and the path to contacting you is shortened to as few steps as it can be.
Titles and structure are set so Google can finally tell what each page is for, the words are rewritten around the customer instead of the business, and your photographs are sized and compressed properly rather than going up straight off a phone. Trust gets its own attention: the reviews, the real photographs of real work, and the details people quietly check before they ring.
Have you done this before?
A rebrand is the cheaper option and it is often the right one. Where the foundations are the real problem we tell you before you spend anything, and show you why.
The risky part of a redesign is not the design, it is the web addresses. Move a page without telling Google where it went and you lose the ranking you spent years earning.

What happens next
Start with the free audit, which takes about a minute and scores the site you have. Then you get the answer: rebrand, rebuild, or leave it alone, and leave it alone is sometimes the right one. If we go ahead, the domain and logins end up in your name whatever state we found them in, and you watch the new site take shape before it replaces the old one.
Most projects take up to two weeks. Some are quicker, some take longer, and the scope decides which.
Google documents exactly how a site move should be handled, and matching every old web address to its new one is the step that usually gets skipped. Google Search Central, site moves with URL changes
What it costs
A rebrand starts from £750. A new build, where that is the better answer, starts from £1,200.
You get a fixed quote before anything starts, and the price you agree is the price you pay. Pay up front, a deposit, or 50/50 depending on the project, and Klarna is available on most. Smaller and larger projects are priced appropriately.
What if I lose my Google rankings?
- Every existing page is mapped to its new home before anything goes live.
- If your foundations are sound we say so and quote a rebrand.
- If somebody else holds your domain, getting it back into your name is part of the job.
Before you ask
How much does a rebrand cost?
From £750. That covers reworking what is there: the look, the words, the speed and the way people get in touch. If the site underneath needs replacing, a new build starts from £1,200, and you get a clear recommendation on which before you commit to either.
How do I know whether to rebrand or start again?
Run the free audit, then ask us. If the foundations are sound, a rebrand is far cheaper than a full rebuild and we will say so; for most owners the website redesign service UK firms sell them is more than they need, because it is only the front end that has dated. If the foundations are what needs replacing, we show you the working rather than just asserting it.
Someone else built my site and holds the domain. Can you help?
Yes, and this is more common than it should be. We will help you get control of your own domain and accounts as part of the job. From then on everything is in your name, and it stays that way.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Your rankings come with you when it is done properly. They are attached to your web addresses, so the job is making sure every old one still leads somewhere. We map every existing page to its new home before anything goes live, so your rankings travel with the pages they are attached to.
Can you just fix the bits that need it?
Often, yes. If it is really the speed, or really the contact form, we quote for exactly that and leave the rest alone.
Ready when you are.
