Privacy notice
This says what happens to your information when you contact us or run the free website audit. It is short because we do very little with it.
Who we are
Fixr Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15889598. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at ben@fixrsystems.com.
What we collect, and only when you give it
If you use the enquiry form we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, and whatever you write in the message box.
If you run the free website audit we collect the website address you enter and your email address, so we can send you the report.
We do not use cookies to track you around the internet and there is no advertising pixel on this site.
Why we have it, and what we do with it
Enquiry details are used to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to do the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted a business asking it to respond, and replying is what you would expect.
Audit details are used to generate and send your report. If you leave the opt out box unticked we may also send you occasional emails about our website and SEO services, on the basis of the soft opt in for existing and prospective customers. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link and one click is enough.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to any list you did not ask to be on.
Who else sees it
Only the suppliers that make the site work: our hosting provider, and the service that delivers our email. They process your information on our instructions and cannot use it for anything of their own.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after twelve months. Records for clients are kept for six years after the last piece of work, because HMRC requires business records to be retained for that long.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email ben@fixrsystems.com and we will deal with it within one month. There is nothing to pay and you do not need to give a reason.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
